26 Nov 2008 - HMIE INSPECTION REPORT PUBLISHED

"Children are happy and enthusiastic in school and making very good progress. Staff are very skilled in ensuring that every child is always busy and actively involved in learning." This is just some of the positive feedback in the HMIE inspectors report for Prospect Bank School published today.

Meg Donaldson, Head Teacher of Prospect Bank, said: "Our very successful HMIE report is the result of a huge amount of hard work on the part of the whole team and it is very encouraging to have our innovative approach to learning, staff commitment and partnership with parents acknowledged as key strengths."

Cllr Marilyne MacLaren, Convener for the Children and Families committee, said: "This is an exceptional report and I am delighted to see that Prospect Bank School has been given one excellent and four very goods in the report. I am sure the whole school community are very proud of this outstanding achievement."
